Comic Festival: Riad Sattouf and Vincent Lacoste, partners in cinema and comics [DIRECT]

Philippe Manever presented the first prize for rock comics “Golden Elvis”, sponsored by Free CharenteBenoit Carbonnel for Cool Paranoid: Testament of Graffiti, this Saturday afternoon, at Lion Rouge, a restaurant on Place Louvel. The album, offering an immersive experience in the daily life of a graffiti enthusiast, was selected from a selection of six.

4:00 pm: Riad Sattouf and Vincent Lacoste talk about their film Les Beaux Gosses.

Laughter, awkward and intimate moments and applause at the end. For the screening of Les Beaux Gosses, released in 2009, director and comic writer Riad Sattouf met his audience at CGR alongside Vincent Lacoste, the young actor featured in this feature film.

A complicity that has lasted since the comic book author published the book last November. Young Actor 1: Vincent Lacoste’s Movie Adventures, a new series that tells about the first steps of an actor in the world of the seventh art. They also told a few anecdotes:

This Saturday at 3:00 pm, the SNCF bubble didn’t have enough room to accommodate all the curious. It’s not every day you get to see the “voice” of SNCF with your own eyes! Simone, whose tone is known to almost all French people, recited texts inspired by the comic book on stage in the company of a musician.

As a reminder, entry to the SNCF Champ-de-Mars bubble is free. You don’t need a comic book festival pass to take advantage of thriller-based programs.

13:25: Alexandre Astier master class cancelled.

An announcement has just sounded: Alexandre Astier’s master class, scheduled for 2:00 pm, has been canceled, the latter has contracted covid. The creator of Camelot, one of the festival’s most anticipated figures, was scheduled to host a scriptwriting meeting at the theater.

The culmination of the Off of the Angoulême comic book festival, the Schlingo awards ceremony, took place at Isabelle’s house in front of a full and cheerful house. There were actually two prizes awarded: the 2021 trophy given to Basil, the comic’s author. american dreamswho was unable to collect his prize due to the cancellation of the FIBD, and the 2022 trophy awarded to Claire Bouillac and Jake Raynal, parents francis badger.

Introducing the ceremony, Off of Off also awarded the Moroccan writer Zainab Fasiki with the Couilles au cul prize for artistic courage for Khshuma: body and sexuality in Morocco. The full ceremony can be viewed below.

A full house for Goldorak, the hero of the manga Récré A2 or L’île aux enfants. On the occasion of the release of the new album Goldorak at Kana, 45 years after the end of his adventures, authors Denis Bayram, Bryce Kossu, Xavier Dorison and Alexis Sentenak spoke about their work in recreating this Japanese animation legend. In particular, their graphic research to bring the hero in line with modern requirements.
