Occupational Equality Index: Results 2022

The Ministry of Labour, Employment and Integration presents the results of the Occupational Equality Index for 2022. This year, 61% of companies with more than 50 employees published their estimates, as they did last year on the same day. The average score has increased by one point compared to 2021 and stands at 86/100, which is a positive development.

Two of the five indicators on which the Index is based have grown compared to 2021:

  • returning from vacation: 2,354 (11%) received a 0 and therefore violated the 2006 law;
  • parity in the top 10 salaries: 27% of companies are at parity or close to parity (with a score of 10/10) and 5 out of 10 companies with more than 1,000 employees have fewer than 2 women among those top 10 salaries.

However, only 2% of companies achieved the maximum score of 100/100, meaning that all other companies have yet to make an effort to promote equality between women and men.
