2021 Income Statement: Extension of exceptional measures for professional expenses incurred due to remote work in 2021

In 2021, many employees have been working remotely to combat the spread of the Covid-19 epidemic. Taking into account this situation and in order to facilitate the declaration of income for 2021, the Minister of Economy, Finance and Reconstruction announced in a press release dated March 9, 2022 the extension for 2021 of the following measures:

  • Benefits paid by an employer that cover solely the costs of teleworking from home, with the exception of current expenses normally required for the exercise of the profession, which may take the form of allowances, lump sums or even reimbursements of actual costs, are exempt from income tax. , within 2.50 per day, 55 per month and 580 per year.
  • For employees who have opted for a real and justified professional expense deduction, professional expenses incurred in connection with telecommuting may be deducted at a flat rate up to the same amount, while the taxpayer retains the ability to deduct them to their exact amount. if it suits him better.

War in Ukraine: Accountants’ Solutions to Protect the Economy

Fuel prices: CPME calls for emergency action for businesses

In a press release, the Confederation of Small and Medium Enterprises (CPME) is calling for emergency action for companies to help them cope with rising fuel prices, which are reaching record levels and are now calling into question their economic model. CPME offers:

  • to increase the refund amount of the Internal Energy Product Consumption Tax (HET) on automotive diesel fuel. Its reimbursement may be monthly rather than quarterly and apply to professional vehicles of less than 7.5 tonnes according to criteria to be determined;
  • cancel VAT on TIKPE;
  • support off-road diesel fuel (GNR) after 2023. This will attract the attention of specialists in the field of public works, construction or materials and quarries.

The profession will change for presidential candidates on March 18

This exchange will be streamed live from Studio Gabriel and can be followed from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on the LIVE website of the Order’s partner, La Tribune.

Candidates will answer two questions posed by reporters before responding to one of 100 proposals submitted by the National Order of Chartered Accountants. Each candidate will have 30 minutes to convince him.



EMP at VSE: Federation of Approved Control Centers (FCGA) draws up a list of

FCGA’s quarterly survey reveals key performance indicators for government-guaranteed credit (PGE) in small businesses.

27.7% of small businesses said they applied for a PGE, mostly in sectors that were considered non-essential, during the Covid-19 health crisis.

The automotive sector represents 32% of beneficiaries, beauty aesthetics 31.9%, construction 22.7%.

The main motivations for the PGE request are to increase cash flow (84.4%) and cover operating expenses (74.6%).

82.7% of entrepreneurs who have issued a PGE have not yet paid it off.

This barometer was published by the Small Business Observatory.

Occupational Equality Index: Results 2022

The Ministry of Labour, Employment and Integration presents the results of the Occupational Equality Index for 2022. This year, 61% of companies with more than 50 employees published their estimates, as they did last year on the same day. The average score has increased by one point compared to 2021 and stands at 86/100, which is a positive development.

Two of the five indicators on which the Index is based have grown compared to 2021:

  • returning from vacation: 2,354 (11%) received a 0 and therefore violated the 2006 law;
  • parity in the top 10 salaries: 27% of companies are at parity or close to parity (with a score of 10/10) and 5 out of 10 companies with more than 1,000 employees have fewer than 2 women among those top 10 salaries.

However, only 2% of companies achieved the maximum score of 100/100, meaning that all other companies have yet to make an effort to promote equality between women and men.

Go Entrepreneurs 2022: Chartered Accountants Meet Business Founders

The National Council of Chartered Accountants (CNOEC) is again this year the Official Partner of Go Entrepreneurs, a lab of ideas and innovative solutions for project leaders, taking place April 6 and 7 at Paris La Dfense Arena.

Sustainable Mobility Package: The mobility voucher is included in the list of special dematerialized payment vouchers.

By the decision of February 2, 2022, published in the Official Journal of March 6, 2022, the mobility voucher was included in the list of special non-documentary payment orders specified in Article L. 525-4 of the Monetary and Financial Code.

This list is now applicable in New Caledonia, French Polynesia, Wallis and Futuna.

Student Contracts: Modifying the Methods for Setting Support Levels
