The Redmi Note 11 is the new entry-level star for Xiaomi, and this value-for-money smartphone has been running promotions since its recent release. Today Boulanger offers the best deal, reducing the price from 249 euros to 189 euros.
Xiaomi is in good shape to start 2022. Indeed, the Chinese manufacturer has recently unveiled its new high-end smartphones, and shortly before that, its entry-level smartphones. We are of course talking about the Redmi Note series, which is always a big hit with the general public and tends to quickly benefit from great post-launch promotions to further improve value for money. This currently applies to the 128 GB version of Xiaomi Redmi Note 11, which loses 60 euros.
Briefly about Xiaomi Redmi Note 11.
- 6.43-inch OLED screen with 90Hz refresh rate.
- Honorable performance provided by Snapdragon 680
- Excellent autonomy (2 days) with fast charging up to 33W
Instead of the usual €249, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 with 128GB of storage is now up for sale at €219 in Boulanger, but with a €30 ODR valid until May 15th, the price of the smartphone drops to €189. .

Well-equipped smartphone for the price
Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 offers the same design and size as the 11S, with dimensions of 159.87 x 73.87 x 8.09 mm and a weight of 179 grams, where, in addition, a 3.5 mm jack port – well, great that it is present – so badly located, on the top edge of the phone. The 6.43-inch screen is different in that it is AMOLED and displays a Full HD + resolution as well as a 90Hz refresh rate. On the other hand, the fingerprint sensor for unlocking is not under the slab, but on the power button on the right edge of the smartphone.
Like its sibling, it includes a 5,000mAh battery, which on paper makes it a pretty generous battery that’s more than enough to last 1-2 days away from an outlet. A 33W charger is included and can restore approximately 50% in about thirty minutes. You should also know that the phone offers MIUI 13 based on Android 11, but not yet Android 12. We also note the presence of an NFC chip, as well as IP53 certification for minimum splash and dust resistance.
Differences from Redmi Note 11S
The first difference occurs at the camera level. If the block is physically identical to the Note 11S block, then the composition of the sensors on the Note 11 is different. Indeed, the latter offers a 50-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle, a 2-megapixel macro, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The second retains the last three sensors but increases the main sensor’s resolution to 108 megapixels. That said, versatility is guaranteed in both cases, especially with the promising ultra-wide-angle mode but lower quality on the classic Note 11. The 13-megapixel front-facing camera is more than enough to take decent selfies to post to your favorite social networks.
The second difference is in performance. Redmi Note 11 comes with Snapdragon 680 with 4GB of RAM while Redmi Note 11S uses Helio G96 with 6GB of RAM. The MediaTek chip is slightly more powerful than Qualcomm’s, but both offer the same smooth user experience. However, there were some stutters when opening apps, and we were unable to install Fortnite on it to analyze its performance in 3D games. However, this is more of a software bug than an inappropriate technical sheet, so let’s see if Xiaomi’s latest smartphone under €200 can run an Epic Games game through an “update”.
