Dear Gran Turismo Community!

Thank you for your unwavering support and your continued feedback on Gran Turismo 7, you are not speaking in a vacuum. I would like to apologize for the frustration and confusion caused by our update last week, which not only caused servers to crash, but resulted in adjustments to the in-game economy that were made without a clear explanation to our community.

We know this is not the Gran Turismo experience you’re expecting, and we’re extending a gesture of goodwill in the form of a 1 million credits unpurchased credits package available to all affected players*. You will soon find these loans in your accounts. Be sure to log in before April 25 to receive credits.

A previously released update patch was supposed to fix an issue with incompatible rewards in the World Circuit events part. But in order to restore the desired balance and offer fairer rewards based on time spent and completion, the entire reward system needed to be recalculated.

To improve the gameplay, we will release a massive patch in early April. The number of events will be increased and we will restore the reward system with a better balance throughout the game so that all players can benefit.

Updates that will take effect in early April:

  • Increased rewards in the second half of Worlds Circuits tournaments by approximately 100% on average.
  • Added high rewards for completing Circuit Experience with All Gold/All Bronze results.
  • Increased rewards in online races.
  • Inclusion of 8 new one-hour endurance races in missions. These events will also give great rewards.
  • Increased the maximum limit of unpurchased credits in player wallets by 20M Cr. for 100M Cr.
  • Increased the number of used and legendary cars available at any time.

In addition to these changes, several additional patches will also be released before the end of April, which will add new cars and tracks, as well as make other changes.

Finally, we’d like to take this opportunity to announce some short-term updates we’re working on right now. We cannot give you an exact date or be more precise at this time, but you will receive all information in advance at

  • Increase rewards for limited-time events as we develop in the live service.
  • Added new World Circuit events.
  • Endurance races have been added to missions, including 24-hour races.
  • Adding online time trials and rewards based on the time difference between the player’s time and the shortest time.
  • Make sure the cars can be sold.

We want to thank you for your patience and valuable feedback as we develop and modify GT7 to make it as enjoyable and rewarding as possible for as many players as possible. We always want to keep the lines of communication with our community open so that we can work together to create the best racing experience.
