When is the next Cannes Film Festival?

His election has caused a stir in the profession, which fears a potential conflict of interest due to his private activities.. Some representatives of the French cinema, who occupy seats on the board of directors of the festival along with state authorities, expressed their regret at the absence “transparency” during the selection process, in a letter sent to Pierre Lescour, AFP reports. In anticipation of his post next July, it will be the journalist who will preside over the next ceremony. This year is the official selection of the 75th festival, to be announced on 14 April by General Delegate Thierry Fremaux. Meanwhile, the Cannes Film Festival will take place from 17 to 28 May.
