Almost 100 million for SMEs to return to fairs and exhibitions

To revitalize the event industry, the state has provided a €96.2 million package to accelerate the return of small and medium-sized businesses to trade fairs.

The NatExpo in Lyon welcomed the news and detailed the participation conditions listed in the decree.
> No direct exhibitors at 2021
>SMEs with less than 250 employees
> Turnover less than 50 million euros or balance sheet less than 43 million euros
> Company registered in France or having a branch in France

The amount of assistance provided is 50% of the cost of renting a stand with a maximum amount of 12,500 euros, excluding tax per exhibitor.

The year 2021 made it possible to exceed the turnover of one million euros, which is a real pride for the tourist office of Lac d’Annecy, which announces this in a press release.

Turnover here is the amount generated by the market as a whole, i.e. direct bookings from www.lac-annecy.com as well as bookings made directly on the suppliers’ websites.

In 2016 it was 101,000 euros; in 2020 in the amount of 635,000 euros (+61% compared to 2019) and in 2021 in the amount of 1,159,000 euros (+82% compared to 2020), the office further indicates.
