GoPro Volta: Battery-powered handle to control the Hero10 action camera

GoPro, usually accustomed to postponing its most important announcements until early fall, is using the spring to introduce a new accessory: the Volta pen. Top range, it promises better control over your action cam to shoot video in any circumstance. At the same time, the California-based manufacturer is introducing the Hero10 Black Creator Edition kit to appeal to videographers looking to expand their production.

While poles, floating handles, tripods, or flexible mounts for the GoPro Hero10 are already available, none of these accessories have electronic features. With the Volta handle, the change is significant and allows you to use it in a new way:

• Built-in 4900 mAh battery. GoPro points to a possible recording of up to 4 hours at 5.3K at 30 fps.
• Built-in camera control buttons.
• Wireless use as a remote control up to 30m away.
• The tripod function is very useful, especially for time lapses.
• Weather resistance. The Volta pen is also compatible with the Hero9, according to GoPro. What’s more, you can use the USB-C connector to charge another device, such as his old action cameras.

Hero10 Black Creator Edition: Complete Package

In order to attract as many creators as possible, in 2019 GoPro introduced several modules to connect to its action camera and improve the quality of pictures. Three years later, the Hero10 Black Creator Edition pack lets you equip immediately without having to buy all the accessories individually. Hero10 Black Creator Edition contains:
