The African CEO Forum 2022, the largest annual meeting of the private sector in Africa, will take place on 13 and 14 June 2022 in Abidjan. As the world recovers from the impact of Covid-19 and ten years after its first release, the event will focus on suggesting new ways for Africa to grow. Vaccine production, supply chain unloading, digitalization, energy transition… The health crisis has accelerated the transition of the economy to new models.

Whether it is a matter of sustainable growth, job creation, or supporting the development of national and regional leaders, the African CEO Forum is committed to working on the dialogue that matters more than ever between the public and private sectors to shape a sovereign Africa. and autonomous. For the first time since 2019, the African CEO Forum 2022 will be held face-to-face with over 1,500 business and government leaders including: Alassane Ouattara, President of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire; Macky Sall, President of the Republic of Senegal; Mohamed Ould Ghazouani, President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania; Mohamed Bazum, President of the Republic of Niger; Yemi Osinbajo, Vice President of the Republic of Nigeria.

From the private sector side, Ralph Mupita, CEO of MTN will attend; Abdul Samad Rabiu, CEO of BUA Group; Soren Toft, CEO of MSC; Delfin Traore, Managing Director of Allianz Africa; Rita Zniber, CEO of Diana Holding; Ade Ayemi, CEO of Ecobank; Aliune Ndiaye, CEO of Orange Middle East and Africa; Anne Regail, Managing Director of Air France, as well as many decision makers from across Africa and around the world. Reference platform, high place of innovation

During the most recent physical Forum in 2019 in Kigali, Rwanda, more than 1,500 decision makers gathered, including 700 CEOs. Case studies, expert reviews, workshops, working groups… Established in 2012, the African CEO Forum is a reference platform for CEOs of major African and international companies, international investors, managers of multinational corporations, heads of state, ministers and representatives of major financial institutions operating on the continent. A high-level meeting place for sharing experiences and identifying trends in the business world, the African CEO Forum offers concrete and innovative solutions to help companies move forward.

This year, the African CEO Forum will introduce new formats to enable participants to discuss how to strengthen Africa’s economic sovereignty. The Africa CEO Forum Awards, given annually to the most active companies and individuals on the continent, will open its doors to around twenty of Africa’s most important startups as part of the Disrupters Club initiative.
